Translation for adventure tourism & sports
I translate action-packed marketing content or functional product descriptions from English into Italian, while also handling cultural nuances. Based on a briefing from marketing or sales teams, I also write blog articles that deliver an adrenaline rush even as you read them.
Technical translation for the natural sciences & sustainability
Natural sciences, green innovation and
ESG reporting. Depending on the project, I work independently or in a team, applying the four-eye principle for extra quality assurance. I am also part of a revision group with four fellow translators: we translate and review texts on sustainability and science, exchanging feedback in dedicated calls. Medical translation
In healthcare marketing too, there are complex regulations to observe. As an expert, I localise medical software in collaboration with localisation teams and adapt marketing content for pharma and healthcare advertising agencies. I also support private clients by translating medical findings and doctors’ reports.
Software and App Localisation, with Localisation Managers and app developers. Software localisation isn't just about the correct technical terminology. Cultural nuances and syntactic structures must also be implemented flawlessly from a technical standpoint. In close collaboration with the localisation team, I ensure that the Italian user journey runs smoothly.
Machine Translation Post-Editing, assessed on a case-by-case basis, where I think this might be suitable for the project. MTPE can, under certain circumstances, significantly reduce the time required for translation, but it's by no means suitable for all texts. Please feel free to contact me for non-binding advice.

You should probably know that I started learning English as a child and that English was the language my sister and I used whenever we didn’t want our parents to understand us.
Today, I work as a translator and writer, using my language skills to help reveal rather than hide meaning.
Translation, in my view, is fundamentally an act of rewriting. It's not simply about converting words from one language to another, but about reimagining ideas, tone, and meaning for a new cultural and linguistic context. Regardless of whether the content originates from English or begins as a blank page in Italian, my goal remains consistent. Creating compelling Italian text that delivers.
I am confident with technical jargon and cultural nuance. I know full well that it's not all black and white, and even marketing content sometimes gets technical. I translate content with a purpose: to sell, to inform, to entertain, and to provide instructions and prompts. And I do it all by working remotely, as a freelance and resourceful partner.
